This site has no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no comments, no newsletter, and no ads. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or marketing trackers. There is nothing here for you to log into and nothing asking who you are.
Three things still see you, and they are all described in plain terms below: the web server that hosts the files, a cookieless analytics service on the main domain that counts visits, and two embedded music players on the Music page that load from other companies when you open it.
This page describes what actually happens. It deliberately does not list protections against things this site does not do.
Nothing. The site is a set of static pages. There is no database, no server-side code, no login, and no form that submits anywhere. Nothing you do on these pages is recorded by the site itself, and no part of this site stores anything on your device except where your browser caches the files in the normal way.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, it records requests as it serves them, which includes your IP address, the browser and operating system you used, the page you requested, the time, and the page that referred you. This is standard hosting infrastructure rather than a choice made here, and GitHub holds and controls that data under its own privacy policy.
Requests to azqato.com are served through Cloudflare, and Cloudflare Web Analytics is switched on. That means a small script is added to every page on that domain before it reaches you, and it reports that the page was viewed.
It is worth being specific about what this is, because "analytics" covers very different things. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. It does not set a cookie, does not use browser fingerprinting, does not build a profile of you, does not follow you between sites, and is not shared with advertisers. What it produces is aggregate counts: how many people viewed a page, roughly where in the world from, what kind of device, and which site referred them.
It is used for one reason, which is to know whether anything here is being read. It is not used to target you and there is nothing to target you with.
The azqato.github.io address does not carry this script.
If you would rather not be counted, any tracker-blocking extension blocks it, and browsers with blocking built in already do. Nothing on the site breaks if you block it.
The Music page embeds players from Mixcloud and YouTube. When you open that page, your browser requests content directly from those companies, which means they can see your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies, exactly as if you had visited them. This happens when the page loads rather than when you press play.
No other page on this site loads anything from a third party. One track on the Music page is served from this site directly and involves nobody else.
This site sets none. Cloudflare's analytics is cookieless. The embedded players described above may set their own cookies, which are theirs rather than this site's, and your browser settings control them.
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA in California, you have rights to access the personal data an organization holds about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. In California that includes the right to know what has been collected and the right to direct that it not be sold. This site sells nothing to anyone and never has.
The honest position here is that this site holds no personal data to give you, correct, or delete, because it collects none. The data that does exist sits with GitHub, Cloudflare, Mixcloud, and YouTube, each as its own controller under its own policy, so a request about it is best made to them directly. Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
This website does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. There is no mechanism on this site through which a child, or anyone else, could submit such information. If you believe a third party embedded here has collected it, please get in touch.
